RS2 in Olive, gray & black, Black Beauty, Brassie, pheasant tail, size 20-22-24; Elk Hair Caddis, Adams, Rusty Spinner, Parachute Blue Wing Olive, Humpy in size 18, 20, 22. These work well in Colorado.

I Love you, Happy Valentine's Day! A story is better than any v-day card. This may be my biggest fish ever, so far; but we have many more years ahead of us and many untouched fishing destinations. The good news for those who enjoy your stories, this translates to unlimited memories, stories, and laughs to come. John and I agree that we should try to capture more of these times on video for the full effect.

this was the best video! I'm so proud of our little fisherman. As for the BBQ comment... well, he has been to Texas. :-) Be prepared, dad, he's going to be asking for the $1000 fishing rod for his birthday. More kid vids!

Nothing is more exciting then seeing your grandson catching his first fish. The excitement in his voice brings tears to my eyes. Johnnie, show the first one caught too. This Grandma is from Ohio also.

Jack -- know exactly how you feel catching those fish.
Who am I?-- A fisher person from way back who went trout
fishing out in the icy cold Pennsylvania streams for many many years. We'd catch, 'em and eat 'em in less than an hour. Yum yum. We taught all our grandchildren how to boat fish and enjoy camping from 3 yrs. old. Now they are all grown and have children of their own about your age. Enjoyed your video!! We have lots of snow here
right now and the temperature is around 19 degrees. (not very good fishing' weather unless you
cut a hole in icy lake ERIE and go ice fishing. NOT ME~~!

What a great trip for all of us, too bad Mom and Dad had to work and miss the trip. Nothing like seeing a 5 year old out fish his dad. And yes Jack just loved the fly fishing show, too bad dad didn't buy him his first fly rod there, that would have made it even better.

Took Jack to a fly fishing show last weekend. Not only did he tell everyone that would listen about his day shown in the video, but he also tied his first fly--A San Juan worm with a little help from an experienced tier.
Now that we live in Colorado, no trout will be safe!
